My Sweet Saulė
During this pandemic, I have been missing my family and friends.
For this project I wanted to do a portrait of Julia.
For this project I wanted to do a portrait of Julia.
She has been a very influential part in my art career and seeing her push through everything inspires me to get better.
I have thought about who she is as a person and how I can incorporate her personality on paper.
I drew this very simplistic portrait of Julia because she is a very simple, elegant person.
I did not think that a lot should be added to her.
I think, though, her personality can be very well seen in what she adores.
She takes a lot of pride in her culture and I thought that maybe surrounding her should be some very simple patterns.

I think I like it better without the pattern because I can see the figure better and it just IS Julia! She is very elegant and minimalistic! I think this is the best representation I can do of sweet Julia. The pattern adds to her very bright and sunny personality! also, saulė, is a translation of the sun!
