Lawn Chair Loungin'

I've been really missing my mom and all of the animals back home so I knew I wanted to draw her and incorporate at least one of them. Originally, I was going to use graphite and gouache but my gouache supply is dangerously low so if I started using it I don't know if I would've had enough to complete the project. I ultimately decided to play around with coloring the sketch digitally, which I'm definitely rusty at, I haven't done much digital work since freshman year. My mom doesn't like having pictures taken of her so it was a little hard finding one but once I found it, this one with Aggie felt perfect. I ended up smooshing two images together in Photoshop so that I could have a better reference. I also added peonies around the bottom edges because they're one of Mom's favorite flowers.
