Gam gam

this is the final piece. i struggled a lot with this collage because I only wanted to use pictures of things that my grandma owns. below are many different iterations of the collage because i couldn't decide. i am definitely still not done with this project, i don't feel that it is where I want it to be.

the puzzle picture is me as a child, the polaroid is my mom and uncle, the lottery ticket has every family members birthdays, the heart locket photo hangs above her dining table, the aloe is probably from the 70's, and the sheet of paper hanging off to the side is the recipe in the photo below. 

my grandma in her decked-out kitchen, the only thing in the house that has been remodeled. she cooks every single meal.
