My ideal studio would be something I can travel and move around in. I’ve always loved the ocean and there’s a ton down there that no one has seen yet so why not have submarine and take a look for myself? My original idea was to have a studio in an aquarium and the groups of fish swimming around could create a picture for me to draw as they swam by. I got some inspiration from Wes Anderson’s movie The Life Aquatic (mainly the fun jumpsuits and hat). I’ve always wanted to be able to go into the ocean and have a clear look around so with a studio that goes underwater I have the convenience to go through the ocean and come back to shore as I please. The interior would a metal desk and file cabinets/book cases to keep my supplies and of course lots of blankets to sit in front of the window and look out at all the sea life.
