Studio Sweet Studio

My ideal studio focuses on surrounding myself with things that inspire me and things that would be practical for my studio practice. So I would have an art wall that is covered with work from artists that I love I would have work from Liz Emery, Emily Botelho, Sally Hewett, Shana Kohnstamm, Elisa Valenti, and Christine Ross, which are featured in the sketch but there would be many more around the studio. I would also want the studio to be like a sunroom so the top foot or two of the walls and the ceiling would be glass and because this is a fictional, ideal studio we're going to assume that the sunlight won't damage the artwork over time or give me sunburn. I would also surround myself with books, plants, and super cozy furnishings with an overstuffed chair, throw blankets, a cushy rug, cats, and a snack drawer. I would also have a lot of practical details like a small sink, large work surfaces, ample lighting that is adjustable, tools and supplies to work in whatever mediums I choose including a flex shaft for jewelry work, and tons of drawer, cabinets, and bins for storage. I'm a very simple person, I just want a quiet, cozy, well lit space, there isn't really anything else I want or need in a studio space.
