Modern Art²

     This piece of art is hanging up in our guest bedroom. I typically don't go in here unless I'm aimlessly wandering the house out of boredom so it is rather under-appreciated. I like how this piece uses metal to create the flowers in its composition. When deciding how to recreate it I thought it might be nice to abstract the design into simple shapes, and I also had the thought, to tie in the metal more, make the petals pieces of sheet metal laid on top of each other to represent a flower in a different way. I chose to sort of mix the two ideas and this is my result.
