Creative Challenge Two
Appreciating the Art We Inhabit
Recreate an artwork that is in your house. This could be any type of art form, painting, drawing, textiles, pottery or graphic design to name a few. This is an artwork that you may have overlooked or one that you admire. Furthermore, this work could have been created by anyone (it does not need to be a famous artist). For this challenge spend time observing its subject matter and formal qualities. Discover what you find interesting and recreate the artwork with your perspective in mind. You can stick to the same medium or change if you would like. For example, you can create a painting of a ceramic vase. The goal of this challenge is to appreciate the art that surrounds you while in quarantine.
